What is HUSHLIP?

HUSHLIP Soft Mouth Tape is a gentle sleep mouth tape made of azlon (milk protein fiber) with a silicone gel adhesive. Each pack contains 30 single-use, individually die-cut tapes in a lavender purple bone shape with a gold crescent moon print and a center air vent. It is designed for sensitive skin and first-time mouth tapers, and produced in an FDA-registered facility.

What is milk fiber (azlon)?

Azlon is a soft fiber made with milk proteins (casein), brushed into a velvety weave that feels gentle against lips and skin. Allergen notice: HUSHLIP contains milk proteins. Do not use if you are allergic to milk or dairy proteins. We print this warning prominently on every pack — ingredient transparency is part of the product.

Does it hurt to remove?

No — that is the point of HUSHLIP. The silicone gel adhesive (not an acrylic glue) is designed to hold overnight yet release cleanly and painlessly in the morning, without sting or residue. Peel slowly from one end. If removal ever hurts or your skin becomes red or irritated, stop using the product.

Will it stay on all night?

Yes. The bone shape, slim center waist, and silicone gel layer are designed for a comfortable overnight hold, including for side sleepers. For best results, wash and fully dry the skin around your lips before applying — oils and moisture weaken any adhesive.

What is the slit in the middle of the tape?

A center air vent. Your lips stay gently sealed, never shut tight.

Who should NOT use mouth tape?

Do not use HUSHLIP if you have sleep apnea (diagnosed or suspected), severe nasal congestion, respiratory conditions, or difficulty breathing through your nose; after consuming alcohol, sedatives, or sleep medication; on irritated, damaged, or broken skin; or if you are allergic to milk proteins. For adults 18+ only. Consult your healthcare provider before use if you have any medical condition or are pregnant.

Is mouth taping safe?

Mouth taping is only appropriate for healthy adults who can breathe comfortably through their nose. Before every night, check that your nose is clear. HUSHLIP is designed to be worn gently and removed instantly — and every pack carries clear warnings. Stop immediately if you feel any discomfort. If you have any concerns about your breathing or sleep, talk to a healthcare professional first.

Does HUSHLIP treat snoring or sleep apnea?

No. HUSHLIP is a general wellness product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, including snoring or sleep apnea. If you suspect you may have sleep apnea, please see a healthcare professional.

I'm nervous about my first night. Is that normal?

Completely normal — the idea of taping your lips makes most first-timers anxious. Three things help: confirm you can breathe easily through your nose; wear the tape for ten minutes while reading before your first night, so the feeling isn't new in the dark; and remember the tape peels away in about one second whenever you want it off. The center vent lets a whisper of air through — gently sealed, never shut tight. If you feel anxious at any point, just take it off. It should never feel like a struggle.

Can I take it off quickly if I need to?

Yes. The tape is not a lock — it releases the moment you peel it from either end. Anyone who cannot easily remove it themselves should not use it.

Can I wear lip balm or night skincare under the tape?

The adhesive holds best on clean, dry skin. Do your skincare early enough that products fully absorb before you apply the tape, and blot your lips first if you use a heavy balm — oils and occlusives reduce adhesion. Prefer lip treatments? Apply them after removal in the morning.

Why is there no collagen or other “active ingredients”?

Because a dry tape is not a skincare delivery system, and we would rather not pretend otherwise. Actives held against the lips for eight hours are also an extra sensitization variable — the opposite of what sensitive skin needs. HUSHLIP keeps a two-line ingredient story — milk fiber face, silicone gel adhesive — and puts all of its effort into how the tape feels going on, staying on, and coming off.

Is it latex-free? Can I reuse a tape?

Latex-free, yes. Each tape is single-use only — adhesive performance and hygiene are not guaranteed after removal.

How is HUSHLIP different from strong adhesive mouth tapes?

Strong-adhesive tapes prioritize maximum hold, which many users report makes morning removal painful. HUSHLIP pairs a soft milk-fiber face with a gentler silicone gel adhesive — designed for people who gave up on mouth taping because removal hurt or irritated their skin.

Where is HUSHLIP made?

HUSHLIP is designed in Los Angeles by Mingxi LLC and produced in an FDA-registered facility in China. To be precise about what that means: facility registration is not product approval — no mouth tape on the market is “FDA approved,” and we won't tell you otherwise. We would rather be exact than impressive.

Is HUSHLIP the same brand as Hush Strips, Hushly, or Hush?

No. HUSHLIP (one word, all caps) is an independent brand owned by Mingxi LLC in the United States. We are not affiliated with Hush Strips, Hushly, Hush by Sol Oral Care, or any other product named “Hush.” Our only official channels are hushlip.shop and our official TikTok Shop store.

What sizes are available, and what does it cost per night?

1 Pack (30 tapes, one month) for $19.99 — about $0.67 per night. 2 Packs (60 tapes) for $34.99 — about $0.58 per night, the best per-night value. Available at hushlip.shop and on TikTok Shop.

How fast is shipping?

We currently ship within the United States only. Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and standard shipping typically takes 3–8 business days. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

What is your return policy?

Unopened packs within 30 days for a full refund; damaged or defective items are replaced or refunded with a photo, no return needed. If you experience skin irritation and stop using the product, write to us — we review those cases individually and err on the side of the customer. See our Return & Refund Policy for details.

I ordered through TikTok Shop — does anything differ?

TikTok Shop orders are fulfilled through TikTok Shop's logistics network, and returns start from your TikTok order page. The same product, warnings, and quality standards apply on every channel.
